ROYAL SWIFT Tachymarptis melbaThe royal swift ? is a bird of the family Apodidae, native to southern Eurasia and Africa. It is the largest swift in Spain, to which it owes its common name. It resembles a swallow but with much larger, elongated wings and in a similar shape to a Boomerang or a variable geometry aircraft with its wings collected.
